Hunter Thompson was right. The music business is tough. It's not really the  place for sensitive and creative people who just want to make music and be paid for it. But it's what we have.

I've had a fantastic a career creating music for film and TV, writing songs, running a business and helping people navigate the legal minefield of music. I've always believed that if you have the ability to help someone, you should just do it.

 

I enjoy my work at the ASCAP Board, where I can use my experience and knowledge to represent all the writers of ASCAP, not just the famous ones :-)
